I'm in North Carolina and my Windows 10 upgrade from Windows 8.1 was installed and running as of 21:02 (9:02pm) on 29 July 2015. I have yet to have any problems anywhere so far.

The media creation tool created two folders $Windows.~BT & $Windows.~WS which I then deleted after creating the ISO.
After I created the ISO I rebooted with my macrium reflect free rescue USB stick & created a backup. When I rebooted into windows the GWX icon was gone so I thought the only change I had done was use the media creation tool & that might have caused the icon to vanish as it now thought I was going to upgrade from the ISO.
I tried all the tips online to get the icon back but nothing worked, I noticed that AMD had released 15.7.1 drivers so I downloaded them & installed them & the setup asked for a reboot, after rebooting the GWX icon was back & the $Windows.~BT folder was there again totalling 5.55 GB.
I read a few posts on here that others had lost the icon so I thought it was either the media creation tool that caused it or MS had made a change to hide the icon maybe due to server load or something.
That's exactly what I thought as well. That in some way, the GWX app recognizes that you're trying to upgrade from an ISO and therefore deletes itself to spare some server overload. But apparently this doesn't seem to be the case. I just noticed that there's a new video driver for my nVidia GPU so maybe I should try to update that aswell and see if it brings back the icon.
Do you have any checkboxes enabled in the Windows Update settings? (receive recommended updates and/or receive updates from other Microsoft products)
