I'm so glad that the team has been concentrating on delivery (hence the long wait) (as well as fixing the grievances before the last build was delivered).

Notably the 16275 non-skippy I'm downloading at present, has a ".1000" Update Build Revision rather than a ".1" so this is something special - as a fast downloader/installer so far:

    (x86 C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download\b0abd0b524df9eba269e6f4615e22a3a canonical (12KB ActionList.XML) 1.97 GB (2,126,243,181 bytes download)

...and no white ! in a red disk on the Windows Update symbol or Windows Defender attention required notification for a change.

One thing that still ticks me off.

Microsoft still doesn't update MRT on the Insider builds, and you have to go to their site to download and install it your self: Download Malicious Software Removal Tool from Official Microsoft Download Center

Look at the date, in May I had to go get it myself:

They say it's the safest Windows ever, but obviously if it doesn't have to do with 3D, or VR, it's not worth updating.

    This is ridiculous!

This time upgrading my main insider computer I got an unknown software exception (code: 0x0000409)

I did my full system cleanup, service disabling, AV disabling and GPU disabling procedures...hope it will solve the issue again.

Something is not quite right in these builds. Ever since we entered the RS3 development builds (early stages of 16xxx) I have had a bad feeling about the Fall Creators Update.

Maybe this will help you find the problem:

    AGAIN!
After a build upgrade, I got a corruption of my Favorite in Edge
Notice how they are all doubled.
I have already started turning of sync for many Win10 items, and it looks like This is another one that just needs to die.
If I delete one of the extras of the bookmarks, both will disappear, and that on all my Win10 systems, leaving me with no favorites(been there - done that).

Slowly I am coming to the conclusion that Microsoft's sync, really, really, sucks.

They need an optional option/switch, for users with multiple devices, to set one system as "Master", and the rest as "Auxiliary" systems, so as to avoid corruptions.

I have had this with other system settings too.
I have even turned off OneDrive on all but my main PC, and use Homegroup or Network to move files around.
OneDrive can still be accessed online through a browser, if I need something.

Thanks! Though good article, not very useful since I get very different error codes every time. And none of my log files reveal anything interesting. Stuff just crash and fail!

It's not my job to fix the problems either, that is MS job since they own the source code. As stated before, I have a bad vibe about this upcoming release. A lot of good stuff but a lot of weird behavior too. Just does not feel right.

There used to be a program that you enter the error code and it would bring you to a help page for it at TechNet(I think it was). 7 Tools To Find What Error Codes Mean | SmashingApps.com
But most error code explanations these days amount to basically "Something happened", not much help, as I guess they have no idea either, as all their best devs and coders have been "let go" the last few years.

Yep! Not really sure what is going on over at Redmond. As a programmer and software engineer I would say ALL Windows 10 Releases are closer to Beta status than stable releases. Insider builds would then be Alpha or pre-Alpha releases.

I have run a lot of applications and tools that are marked as Alpha and most of them are more stable than the official Windows builds. :)

    Like UBUNTU!
I used to join the Alpha release phase of Ubuntu as soon as they had the stable release out, and never, ever had a problem.
