    Only thing I can figure out from the Windows build numbers is that 15xxx has been introduced year 2015, 16xxx builds has been introduced year 2016 and 17xxx could and should be introduced later this year. So there is some logic in the numbers.

    Should we care which is what? NO! We should only care about the final releases whatever that build is, and that it is stable enough for some serious work. :)

    Hmm. You're correct. Never realized that before.

    Can you show us a screenshot of the apps that are trying to update?

    @eddward

    So I see you got your problem resolved. What was the solution?

    Nothing is resolved, I have to keep all these apps installed, otherwise will keep downloading and installing over and over again after every reboot if I uninstall them... this is not a solution, I need these apps to be uninstalled permanently.

    Sorry. My mistake. Now I remember your problem. That's a strange one, for I've never seen that before.

    Me too. I don't know what or where is the root cause. Maybe I have installed Windows wrongly? Something messed up with local / Microsoft account ? Or something with Admin user ?
    Also the Store is somehow not localized, so maybe it has something to do with this case?
    I literally tried everything - regedit, gpedit, powershell, I have even uninstalled Store completely with powershell, but these apps keep downloading and installing. Honestly it is like malware.

    Those kid games are the first things I get rid of.

    Is your region and time zone correct?

    Have you tried a clean install?

    Yes everything is correct. I double checked it.
    Another clean install not yet. I will wait for the final ISO for FCU.
    But still, it started right after 2nd-3rd reboot after clean install from the previous Slow ring ISO.

    Then I have a hunch as you mentioned that something is wrong with the MS server. It is not registering that those apps don't belong on your system. Look at a CBS log in C:/Windows/Logs/CBS. You'll see "Packages" listed often. Those are apps.

    Have you tried the app troubleshooter? https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...r-windows-apps

    You may want to contact MS.
