Hmm. Just got home, fired up the box, logged in here with Edge, and a few minutes into it everything froze. No mouse, no keyboard, no Ctrl/Alt/Delete, no SSD LED read/write. Nothing. Waited 5 minutes, nothing, and then hard reset. It rebooted fine. After boot a Hub report popped up asking what happened. Filled it out. Haven't had a freeze in a long, long time. Hoping it's not a regular event.

Yes, next fast ring and current skippy will merge once FU is released. But we are talking about the builds right now, and should not go ahead of ourselves. There is NO real difference in the bits between the 2 at the moment except for some configurations and the inbox app versions. :)

Having a few issues with UWP apps in this build. Dopamine music player won't launch at all and Facebook Messenger won't send messages with the Enter key. I have to click on the send button. Nothing dealbreaking, obviously, but I've filed feedback nonetheless.

3 BSOD within 15 minutes of starting a computer: "Critical service failed". Waiting for the next one.

MS made a few services mandatory in the previous build, I guess it changed mandatory status to necessary.

Curious...what service failed? Maybe it's just semantics, but what's the difference between mandatory and necessary? Both sound like something could go wrong if the service(s) weren't running.

I wish I knew, after 6th BSOD, still no memory.dmp.
Running SFC scan, I hope, it will manage to finish within 5 mins.

A few services can not be disabled in Fall Update. But disabling them caused no problem until now.
But crashing a computer, in order to make a point, MS must have gone crazy.

EDIT: Disabling Network Store Interface Service disables Windows Firewall and causes BSOD within 10 mins.

Maybe they sucked up your memory dumps, teleported them to Redmond, and deleted them before you could find! :)
