    Also look in

    c:\windows\softwaredistribution\download

    then look for a folder with todays date on it (looks like random letters/numbers)

    check in here, upgrade also puts files in this directory

    win 7 desktop just taken more than 10 mins to install an update and now wants to restart as another update to download
    yet nothing in the view updates

    stop trying to force the upgrade - walk away for a while and just may start on it's own

    upgrades will not be allowed until tomorrow

    there is a "setup".exe in the windowsbt folder..I wonder how many peeps have clicked on that to see if it sets up today?
