Windows 10 still does NOT work 100% flawlessly on these machines.

Another generalization I can't support. No issues on our SP4, besides it received Creator's Update as soon as it was released.
Yeah, no OS has ever been 100 percent flawless... no matter who makes it, or where it gets installed. That's a non issue here.

Seriously, have you seen how many Surface ONLY issues there has been with Windows 10? One would think that fixing those issues would be first priority.

And I'm sure it is. I've seen more Surface specific driver/firmware updates come through Windows update than any other computer we've ever owned.

The thing that makes me nervous is, it appears firmware (BIOS) updates get pushed to them via Windows update. A BSOD is one thing, being bricked by Windows Update is another.
I would think chances for that to happen are just as high, if not higher for the average experienced user doing their manual thing. Provided they can find a BIOS update. I like the idea of them coming through WU and my guess is it's actually safer.

Have you seen how many issues there are on PC's? Look around here lately :)

Nothing's perfect. Period. I had it crash on a brand new Lenovo notebook. And no, no issues with the notebook, just one of those things. Stuff happens.

Great if that is the case!

Hope they get all Windows non hardware specific things fixed soon too. Puts the Surface in bad light if the OS it's supposed to run messes up perfectly good hardware or the overall user experience. I am not talking about big issues, but all the small glitches that has persisted ever since Windows 10 was released. It's getting better, but still a LONG way to go. :)

One really great thing with the Surface lineup, is that they keep up really well with the latest hardware, like CPUs, storage and memory. A BIG FAT PLUS there!

If they did that, I might have my Surface Book Pro, Performance Edition instead of my Lenovo notebook. Waited for an update to the Surface Book that never came, thus the Lenovo. I'm sure MS is going to update the Surface Book, but I couldn't wait for their time table.

Yes I remember this happening. But we all have to remember that MS is mainly in the software and marketing business, not hardware business.
