All went in fine. Seems a safe one. But noticed after today's updates my update history was wiped in that it now says 'no updates have been installed yet'

You will still see all previous updates listed if you look in the Control Panel. @dalchina reported the same thing happening with the July 18th KB4025334...

    My possible explanation then was...

Update history saying 'no updates have been installed yet' while Control Panel still shows the list of installed updates is exactly what you'd see if you Reset Windows Update in Windows 10. There's nothing obvious in the list of 'issues addressed' that says it would reset Windows Update, but it's a plausible explanation.
If you didn't get KB4025334 then whatever 'fix' did this would have been installed by this Cumulative Update.

I have updates set to notify. Unfortunately I can't select updates. If I click download, it all comes in.
But there's a mystery update in the list - KB4035631 - no information about it. What to do?Cumulative Update KB4034658 Windows 10 v1607 Build 14393.1593-2017-08-08_14-01-57-patchtuesday.jpg

This update seems to have successfully installed, but it's also wiped out my update history like mentioned above. Now my update history says: "No updates have been installed yet." Odd...

My computer is hung in an loop of saying "Getting windows ready, Don't turn off your computer" for about 30 minutes. No progress being made. Seems 'confused' and can't figure out what to do next. All other computers have updated and restarted without problems.

Finally completed update and, like others have reported, update took out references to previous updates. Nothing shows up and it reads "no updates have been installed yet" --- really weird. Now, what happens when its time to be offered the update to Creators?????

I have now seen this too. My thoughts on a possible reason are in Post #3. Interesting to note that update history doesn't even show this update KB4034658.

So you haven't been offered Creators Update on your machine either? I'm tearing my hair out wondering why it's still not coming down the pipe four months after release with the next feature update imminent! I thought phased roll out as over but there seem to be quite a few lost souls frozen out of creators. At least these cumulative updates for V1607 are coming through and installing ok but what does MS and Windows Update have against my PC???!
