Cumulative Update KB4034674 Windows 10 v1703 Build 15063.540

I really don't know what happened to mine. On the config page it was set to disabled, yet I know it was on because I have several restore points previously, including a restore point for when that update was installed. Based on that I can only assume (I know, that causes trouble) the KB turned it off.

Small update. Restored an image from 4,5 day ago. Bad idea. Because that caused so much harddisk activity after logging in it generated even more of those ESENT-warning regarding too much taken time for writing some log file. Logical, becuae now not only Windows Update was busy, but also Telemetry, AV-update, app-updates and many other things were batteling for HD access. Sometimes it really physically hurts to see how Windows behaves after logging in. It would be SO nice when a sticky notification appeared with the text 'Windows update available, click here to install it'. That's how it works in other OS'es I use. And there I never have problems with updates flooding harddisks. Sigh. Never mind, I am putting back the image I made today right after installing the latest updates. Hopefulle System Restore was just a glitch, another timing misfire, so to say. We'll see...

Sleep Settings Reset!!!
Update reset Sleep settings on one of our clients PCs... no big issue, right... well, this PC is headless and runs their IP PBX (phone system). PC goes to sleep and phones cannot call out or each other. Other than that, looks fine.

Final update. restored the earlier made image of today. System restore works again, I think I might have created a restore point a bit to quickly following a previous one. Cost a lot of time all in all, but probably really wasted time... O well, that's life.

Odd. It didn't turn it off for either of the two machines I updated.

I can't confirm for nor against, since I have had this option off ever since I setup my laptop. (I use the built in recovery image if I need to revert) :)

Installed this afternoon, running like a smooth baby butt!

Unlike everyone else here that update caused my laptop to display only a black screen now...been trying to fix it since 4am ( & I am no computer wizz) and may be able to but that means uninstalling this one again...hope that everything will get back to normal soon but any suggestion as to why there could be a conflict?

I kept the laptop from automatically updating yesterday, setting my LAN as Metered. I turned that setting back to off today and Windows updated smoothly. Cant find anything wrong in my laptop after the update.
