You can, but you'll have to disable 'Activity Stream' and set NewTab Page Compact' to false in about:config:

    browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.enabled set to false

    browser.newtabpage.compact set to false
Thanks Edwin. browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.enabled set to false (this did the job). But it also messed up the customization I did for the page. The thumbnails got much bigger and as I had 3 rows of 8 thumbnails last ones were missing .

59.0a1 is the latest Nightly channel build.
    58.0b? is the beta channel.
    57.0.x is the release channel.

see Try New Browser Features in Pre-Release Versions | Firefox if you are daring.

(i'm using 59.0a1 dtd. 29NOV17, it's working fine, but the nightlys are not 100% dependable, so you may get glitches.)

mine is telling me to restart to install the latest update. it's doing that on auto.

and you get a cool new icon

Thanks for the clarification....so he was referring to firefox 59...by the way, mine is set to auto-update and i also got the message on there to restart to complete the update and i'm running 59.01 now...

Does everyone’s jumplist work / show ok for Mozilla at the moment? I have Firefox pinned to the task bar but right clicking reveals no jump list anymore

Ok thanks. I cleared history, cache etc. That seemed to fix it, jump list came back.

    Serious Problem:

Every now and again the flash videos I watch on Youtube become filled with "green lines".

Does anyone know what this means?

It may be an issue of updating your graphics driver and/or enabling latest flash.

Even after clean install of 57.01 some problems still exist, can't log in some sites for instance. It also locks up from time to time. Running it add-on free right now, except for Black theme. I usually have few add-ons and Extensions but keep them disabled until needed.

Nightly now prompts you when an extension changes your New Tab page...

Choosing 'Restore Settings' immediately disables the add-on.
