    A couple 'flexible' spaces are not enough. we need some fixed spaces and dividers.

    enter about:config in web address and in that page, go down to browser.newtabpage.pinned. Double click that and copy and save it as text file. When ever you need to use, do the same as above and copy the same in that place.

    I appended the code to my firefox userchrome.css and it works fine for bookmark folders...thanks.

    I don't see the point of 'spaces', flexible or fixed, but you can still do dividers (or Separators)
