    Guys,

When I try to open a New Link in Firefox, it opens a whole new Firefox window, it doesn't open the link in a new tab, I want it to be opened in a new tab instead, how can I do that?

How silly of me! I already uncheck it when I installed FF57 at the first time

    Thanks Mike, much appreciated.

I really didn't give the new firefox much of a chance...I think I will likely re-download it tomorrow and play with it for about a week..it is different of course than the other browsers I use (Chrome and Edge) so I think perhaps I didn't give enough of a chance to get accustomed to it...

I did notice that web pages did load in fast (like they do on Edge) and also the fonts were very sharp...Edge also has sharp fonts...I have noticed in comparison, Chrome doesn't seem to renders fonts quite as good...So, I did like that aspect of it...

Mostly I have been using Edge as of late (which I find is pretty good, actually) but since the new Firefox has so many improvements (with lots more to come) I figure I should give it another go...:)

I stopped using Edge when it kept freezing. The worst was when I first reinstalled W10. Edge would not let me download Firefox or Chrome. It kept freezing. After about 10 attempts I was able to get the web installer of Chrome to install when then I used to install Firefox. What a real PITA.

    Edge works fine for me...

I'm glad i decided to give Firefox Quantum another chance...got it set up today...made a few settings changes (like home page, search engine, changing top bar to the light theme to make it look like Chrome and Edge...although the dark theme isn't bad, actually)...I had it import over my Chrome settings so that stuff would be there...

It is blazingly fast! Love how web pages load in so quick...like it does on Edge...Edge is really nice but this has more options and settings, which i like very much...And the font rendering is terrific...everything looks great ( fonts, graphics, etc) You Tube videos play really excellent....
    I am very IMPRESSED :)

It does seem to use more ram though, which doesn't bother me too much since i have 8 gb...I am wondering, could that have to do with having a 4 core processor? (Intel I5)...I read that Firefox now runs with all the cores...I'm assuming Edge and Chrome do not?
Otherwise, love it! And i assuming it can only get better...I'll run with it for a few days, but i suspect i will be making it my default browser and probably remove Chrome...

After re-starting my computer, now i am showing far less memory usage from when i installed...It's using half as much as before...in fact, it's using less ram then either Edge or Chrome! Looks like this is going to be my new main browser...

One thing...i did a "refresh firefox" when i re-installed it, to start clean (it mentioned that i had installed it previously)...After the install, i noticed a shortcut on the desktop called "old firefox files" i deleted it...i hope it was ok to do that?

Must say, between the excellent speed, low memory usage, and excellent graphics and font rendering (and everything is properly sized correctly too) plus the ease in using the settings and customizing, i must say that i really love what they have done with this...

Edit: after careful checks, it is using much more ram on my system...but i will stick with it, and hope that future versions will improve in that regard...it was just released, and perhaps there are certain "bugs" that still need "ironing out"...
