Pale Moon has Tabs below the Address Bar (you don't need to install CTR).
Since this thread is about Firefox what Pale Moon has does not concern me.

All seems to be going well for me except one add-on "Dark Background and Light Text", which the developer is in the process of the Web Extension port. Hopefully he will get it processed by November. In the meantime, it is still working as Legacy Stylus will work (tho not as well) if he doesn't get it approved.

Has everybody else gotten daily updates to Nightly. I have not had any crashes (Other than update requests), There are some annoyances with 56 and up, all of these versions are finally running faster, but I really disappointed with minimal selection of add ins under Nightly. I love my speed dial which will not be available in FF future releases.

    SAD.

The only thing I don't like about version 57 is when you view the legacy extensions you have and click on Find a Replacement. Most of the extensions you get taken to have no relevance whatsoever to the one you want to replace

is there a way to replace opened tabs with new ones instead of adding to them? An extension use to be able to do it called openintabs-erase in FF. Does Pale moon have such an extension?
    I run Tab Mix Plus.
Most of the extensions I used in FF work correctly in PM (except Download Helper).

I just installed that extension in PM.

It works correctly from the Bookmarks Toolbar. :)
It doesn't seem to work correctly from the Bookmarks Menu or Bookmarks Library.

    That post had a Quote.
The info was posted for @bruinator.

You specifically mentioned that you love tabs-on-top, so obviously I DIDN'T POST THAT INFO FOR YOU!

i used firefox since it was 'phoenix' back in the old days.

the mozilla group has been, for the last couple of years, destroying FF. somehow they think that turning it into a bad chrome clone will somehow impress the deplorable end users that whine on about wanting it to keep all the customizable things that made us like FF in the first place. the 'developers' are hellbent on ignoring users because they know what's best for use dumb end users.

if i had wanted chrome, i'd install chrome.

well, when they removed the extension api and all my favourite extensions stopped working, and my profile crashed, i thought, the heck with this. fighting to keep moz from changing everything beyond recognition ain't worth the effort anymore. FF is a memory now.

i installed google chrome. found a few extensions that make it just about bearable, it's crap, but it works, sort of. i have one tab open for this post and 22 chrome.exe processes plus three other subordinate procs showing in my task manager and using a half gig of memory.
i'm using opera and haven'h looked back. have chrome with the same extensions as a secondary. for backing up opera i use hekasoft backup @ restore 0.67. with opera 49 will have the ability to remove and rearrange the icons on the address bar.

Adobe Acrobat, Amazon Assistant, Browsec VPN, Chrono Download Manager, Ciuvo Shopping, Disable Cookies, Download Chrome Extensions, DuckieTV - "Browser Action" mode - Nightly, EverSync, Forecastfox (fix version), Google Translate (not needed in chrome), History Eraser, Hover Zoom+, HTTPS Everywhere, Page Screenshot, Right Click Opens Link In New Tab, Session Manager, Speed Dial [FVD], Stylish, Tab Active, TweetRight, uBlock Plus Adblocker

If you are using NoScript in Firefox and have updated to version 5.12, you might find the NoScript icon disappearing and nowhere to be found. The solution that worked for me was to restart Firefox in Safe mode after installing 5.12, then exit the browser, afterward when you open Firefox normally, the icon is back.
