It's not stable. Multiple crashes 58 is pretty fast and stable. I'm pretty sure that the legacy apps must be the issue
But I don't have any legacy apps.....

Are you talking about 56 crashing with no apps?

If so, 56.01 is just around the corner. :)

I'm talking about Nightly 58 - would not open after update. 56 on regular FF seems to be working ok.

That was a issues with that build and this types of issues are expected on Nightly.
1403951 - Browser window doesn't display when Dark/Light theme is enabled on Windows 10

It got fixed and the last build seems to be fine, no issues or crashes..

If you had extensions that were not Fx 57 Compatible could of been a cause. When moving to a Nightly build it is always best to install it without any extensions.

I installed the beta a few days ago and noticed when i am in my email (outlook) and click on an email to open like ncix.com or newegg,ca, that it takes from 10-20 secs before I can scroll the page. It's like the page freezes. In the other browsers it scrolls instantly.
    Anyone else notice that?

    Nightly sporting 'Photon' folder icons,

also, 'Containers' icon removed from toolbar but still accessible by pressing and holding the New Tab button:
