The first official 20170905 builds are not yet out mozillaZine ForumsYes, NoScript extension is on it's way of becoming WebExtensions. Right now the AMO version is a hybrid WebExtensions: it has a legacy wrapper to fetch user settings from legacy storage so the WebExtensions part can save it where the WebExensions versions can retrieve those settings. At a later date the pure WebExtensions version will be deployed.
I am giving up on Firefox at least temporarily - using Google Chrome with FF, Opera and Edge as backups in that order. Too many new things in FF right now - I want a browser to serve me not one that makes me to figure out how to use it - lol.
I use Firefox at home probably 80-90% of the time. But it seems to be fussy on things like an online streaming player like Sirius radio's website, NBC Sports, etc. I also had trouble over the weekend using it to try and authenticate streaming through an Xbox One app. It just kept saying invalid code over and over again, switched to Chrome and it went through the first time. But my home PC is Windows 10.
Here at work we're limited to Windows 7 and we have to use Chrome as our browser. It freezes up just as bad as anything else I guess. If I don't see "aw snap" at least 5 times a day it's not a regular work day.
By the time the Firefox people get done with all these 'improvements' they probably won't have many users left at all.
I'll probably get mad at it in a couple of days but I downloaded Nightly, AGAIN!
