I'm so used to Firefox that i'll never use another browser again. I will sometimes try another browser, but Fx remaines my preferred browser.

I use Firefox not because of speed but because I like it. Chrome may load a pagei n .00001ms faster but nobody notices and the fact that it uses services long after you close it.

... but it messed up the 'Library' window!

I keep waiting for the shrunken address bar to be fixed.

    Mine's a 'floating' border-less window without a close button.
It dismisses on mouse focus elsewhere but you can still close Nightly, and if you do so, you have to close the Library window with the Taskbar thumbnail preview!

You can fix that. Customize and remove the spaces on the right and left.

Yeah, I noticed they planted 'Flexible Spaces', one on either side of the address bar, by default!

Thanks, but the only additional space I have is the Search Bar. That could be removed, but I prefer having it. The Search Bar isn't shrunken.

Edit: I found the problem. A legacy add-on (Hide Tab Bar With One Tab) was responsible. It was somehow keeping at least the visual part of Nightly updates from taking effect. Now it no longer works, so I'll be looking for some way to get rid of those ugly tabs.
