Tried out FF 55. One of my extensions no longer works with it. Seems a little faster than last version. The Mozilla site tried to push the 64 bit version on me which I don't recall it doing before so I had to go to the languages page to get the 32 bit version which I prefer. No more use hardware acceleration where available in the settings. I hope UO is made compatible with 57. If not that might be a deal breaker for me even as a secondary browser.

@tomseys: 32 bit version will be no longer supported in the near future, that's why. uBlock origin you can use the dev. I'm using the dev and it works okay.

Thanks for the info didn't know that. I usually go for the 32 bit since it seems to work better/faster for me that 64 bit browser in general with browsers.

Just read on ghacks that UO has already made a web extension version (available now on dev) so that is good to hear. Reading more about webextenstions- seems they can do relatively little compared to legacy extensions. The trade off being a faster more stable browser. Guess I'll see how it plays out.

That setting has been moved to Options>General, look at the bottom.

WebExtensions are also supposed to be more secure.

I use Chrome, because I think it is much more stable than Mozilla Firefox(always have always will):)

I disagree. I had more crashses with Chrome then with Firefox. And it uses much more memory, is my experience.
.Nightly is very fast and stable up till now.

i took this opportunity to reinstall and re-setup opera and i have to say it's the fastest browser i've seen in a long while. loving the fact that i'm able to use a combination of opera and chrome extensions to get opera setup exactly like i like.
