    Few questions. Is it ready to use as default browser and what about Addons ? Could it be installed without doing any damage to regular 55.03 ? Could it be used as portable ?

    I believe in the notes for Firefox 56 it cautions you not to go back to a previous version because a changes to the configuration. Version 56 is stable (what I am currently using) and still allows the use of add-ons. I plan on using version 56 until 57 is officially released so additional add-ons can hopefully be updated to be compatible.

    Stylish is the only extension that is not yet comparable with Firefox 57 but I am sure it will be when it comes out.
