Nightly won't update. I did a restart several times, but each time it's updating and i do a restart, the same problem. This sucks

Reinstalled it, did a refresh, and now it's uptodate. Fingers crossed

Nightly (2017-08-23) now has tabs loading with dots going back and forth, instead of the 'activity wheel'.

If you click on the 3 dots in the awesome bar you get option to bookmark this page and save to pocket, but those 2 options are already on the awesomebar

Just going to use ESR until FF gets it completely sorted out!

I'm finding some bugs in Nightly, but it's stable enough for me to use as my main browser. Still keeping Pale Moon handy as a backup, though.

Done the same but as it seems the sidebar functionality (as in vertical toolbar & all-in-one sidebar) won't return post firefox 57 I am now using Vivaldi as my main browser https://vivaldi.com .. chrome based but far nicer to use for me

Fx 57 is still in Alpha stage, it still has to go through the BETA process and I am sure that many bugs will be fix by the time it goes to release.
