It's way overdue, but thankfully 16257 has been quite stable for me.

    Update: Wednesday it is

Sorry, Kari. Scripting is fairly new to me. This is what I have from PS. I copied the ISO install files from thumb G: to a folder I made on my C: drive. I don’t know enough to direct DISM to that folder using your script.

(In continuing the script below, there's no space between the .esd and the /)

    PS C:\Windows\system32> dism /export-image /SourceImageFile:C:\ISO_Files\Sources\install.esd /SourceIndex:1 /DestinationImageFile: C:\ISO_Files\install.wim/Compress:max /CheckIntegrity

    Error: 87

The /DestinationImageFile: option is missing a required argument.
For more information, refer to the help for the /DestinationImageFile: option.
You have a few typos there, first one clearly told in error message (option missing):
    • You have a space where there should be none:
      /DestinationImageFile:HERE'S AN EXTRA SPACEC:\ISO_Files\install.wim. No spaces here, it's /DestinationImageFile:C:\ISO_Files\install.wim!
    • You have no space where there should be one, between C:\ISO_Files\install.wim and /Compress:max. It's not C:\ISO_Files\install.wim/Compress:max, it should be C:\ISO_Files\install.wimA SPACE HERE/Compress:max

In screenshot, red arrows show where there should be a space:

It will be a shame when a new build comes out and this thread dies away.
Although the thread is probably 90% off-topic diversions, some of them have been very interesting. :)
