LOL! That struck me funny, meebers. How much "Stuff" is in there? Is that a folder of shortcut icons?

I try to keep mine peaceful with nature pics as well.

The "stuff" folder is mainly data files, .xls, pdf, doc. etc of current projects. When the project is done, those data files go on my storage disk. I find this slightly easier then going/searching for the right file to work on, just look in my stuff (I updated the original pic with a pana view, dual monitors)

Just my luck. I have appointments on Wednesday.

It'll be a later on thing for me.

My vmcz file is less than 2GB!
I have tried it several times on different vms. The .vmcz file is always less than 2GB, and renaming as .zip fails as PC does ipen it. I get no error message on creation of .vmcz file.

    Basically just does not work.

I am going to try exporting vm, zipping it, reanaming as .vmcz and see if that works but I have my doubts.

Are you certain you are waiting long enough? It takes HUGE amounts of time to get the final vmcz file written? Hyper-V says it'´s completed almost immediately, while the compression process takes ages after that. Are you patient enough? On a small 5GB VM it took a really long time. Think the compression is done in single thread mode.
