I rather wait if next upgrade will fix this. A new user profile is a pain in you know where to set up, I have multiple OneDrives and Sharepoint sites set up and so on, it takes me almost an hour after a clean install to get user profile set up.

Anyway, I tested yesterday other user profiles which normally do not have Quick Launch set up, I only use other users when I need Windows in Finnish, Swedish or German as the additional users have all been set up with respective language as display language (by applying language packs). Although no other accounts had issues in reloading Quick Launch, I do not believe my profile is corrupted as everything else, to the smallest detail works just fine.

It might be that Windows no longer "likes" the Quick Launch in OneDrive. I have the Quick Launch folder stored and synced in OneDrive to make it easy and fast to use it after a reinstall.

Speaking of Photos App, do you have the option to trim the videos? Because I currently do not have it, but today when reading an MSPU article where it was said that Story Remix was already available to everyone, I asked someone in the comments section if he had that option to trim the videos in the Official build (15063.540) and he replied yes and he showed me this image:
    Attachment 148617

If this is already in the public build I don't understand why I don't have it on Skip Ahead.
    Yes you can:

Yes, you can trim each individual video clip that is mounted in the 'Story Line':
(not sure what formats are supported)

Drag video clips from the 'bin' onto the 'story line' then right click clips for options:

You can also trim finished videos afterwards:

No, I don't have that option to trim the videos in Story Remix, I don't have the search box either or the automatically created albums that appear on the top but I've always had the option to trim finished videos, I'll do a clean installation on another small SSD to see if those others options appear in the Photos app, thanks for the answer.

@Martin, knowing you have tested Hyper-V VM sharing, does importing your shared VMs work simply by double clicking the .vmcz file? Mine errors out every time:

Debugging it in Visual Studio gives a clear reason, lacking permissions:

I have to add path to VMImport.exe to PATH variable in PowerShell profile file as it's simply too long to type every time, see yellow highlight in screenshot below, then I can import manually from elevated PS:

Tried it today, and it just failed as you say.

I assume by the size of the .vmcz file, it is just the virtual machine info, not the actual vhdx file that is exported?

I looked on feedback hub but saw no obvious reports.

No, the shared VMCZ file contains everything, even checkpoints if they exist. It's just that sharing really takes time; when you think it's done, when the progress bar shows ready, it still continues saving on the background. No way to tell it's ready other than refresh target folder every now and then, when ready a refresh finally shows the real file size jumping suddenly from a few hundred megs to several gigs.

In my experiments compression seems to be quite exactly 1:2, the example in my screenshot is 17.3 GB VHDX which when shared makes just under 9 GB VMCZ file.

Anyway, I left feedback now, please upvote if it behaves the same way for you: Feedback Hub - Windows Insider

Yeah, it's not working as designed simply by double clicking the VMCZ file, but works when done manually from elevated Command Prompt or PowerShell.

Annoying thing that started yesterday, my Quick Launch will not be shown when booted. I rely heavily on it, its 25 shortcuts are located comfortable on top of my vertical Taskbar.

It's not a big issue to set it back after every sign in, but as it by default organizes shortcuts in alphabetical order, I need to use some extra time to get it organized as I prefer. It's important to me because I'm so used to certain order that I hardly need to watch where I am clicking to open a specific app.

Any ideas, what could be causing Quick Launch toolbar not to be shown?
No idea, Kari. Mine is working as it should.
