Hi Marty,

You look to be all set.

16257.1000 is rs-prerelease which will eventually become RS4; RS4 will not be available until Spring 2018

Many people are all ready it calling RS4 but technically it is not.

Yes, you are in Skip Ahead, but Microsoft has not yet released any RS4 build, both builds (rs_prerelease and rs3_release) still belong to RS3, the only difference is that rs_prerelease (Skip Ahead) receives early updates of the inbox apps, the first build of RS4 will be released at the end of this month or early September, I think...

I disagree. This will offically be RS3. RS4 will come Spring of 2018.

I totally agree, none of these builds belongs to RS4, I do not know why here and in other forums people are calling Skip Ahead "RS4".

BTW. the above is as far as I can recall the second ever cat pic I have posted on Internet since long before WWW (I was a Gopher user long before WWW was presented in early 90's).

I saw something similar about your Ring experience. When I installed Pro, on my PC, Slow and Fast were greyed out, and only after I selected Next Version, did I get option to select Fast or Slow. Seems backwards to me!

I agree that Skip Ahead Insiders will see new rs prelease builds soon but it will not be called RS4 at that time.

Okay, *almost everyone, besides, some members of the insider team already call this builds "RS3", I think those same members will call it "RS4"

And when someone refers to the builds of the next Development Branch as "RS4", Brandon Leblanc does not correct them or tells them that it will not be called that way, we'll see ...
