Many thanks - I have to say I am always amazed how people come up with these workarounds!
Lawyers should be good at that, they can find loopholes easier.

Kari's trick worked. How in the world did you figure that out? I am now on the Fast track Skip ahead. I would say that I was a bit worried since after the reboot the registry editor was not open but I was running a backupl at the time. I will have to image this "new" build now.

I must have installed the latest version manually, as I have no record of OneDrive in my Store. :)

UPDATE: nope, I installed 17.3.6955.0712 and then it auto updated within the client itself.

I took an rs3 install, and updated it to the Skip Ahead version using Kari's tut.
Then I took a non-Insider build 15063.541 image from my Surface Pro 3, put in on an SSD in my desktop, enrolled into the Insider Program - rebooted and was able to upgrade that to the Skip Ahead with Kari's tut - I learned 1 thing this evening - I really gotta get a life -

Geeks, just a reminder, the trick is not mine, I couldn't even think something like that. Thanks for that trick goes to our fellow member @tracit99 as I told before:
