Not for my children - they are parents themselves, and beyond lexical correction - but for their children, I probably would be very happy, because Wynona's examples* seem to show a deeper understanding of the underlying language (and recognised standard usage), in a humerous vein of usage, than "wos or woz, ignerence, or instruxshuns" would, being either non-lexical phonetic reconstructions, spelling errors, or constructions that do not follow the usual fashion of written English.

In other words, Wynona's mash was perfectly seasoned.

    * Wynona at least prefixed "'structions" with an apostrophe to indicate the missing beginning letters.
    Why, thank you, Fafhrd. :)

What we really need to worry about is our seven-year-old kids seeing and repeating the shorthand English that's used in texting! Talk about the English language being mashed!

Actually our children tend to spell phonetically . . . If they hear was pronounced as "wuz", they'll most likely spell it that way until corrected by their teacher. If they hear ignorant pronounced ignernt, then they spell it that way. And so on and so on etc.

BTW, have you ever seen how programmers/coders spell? Some of it is hilarious.

I have two PRO N virtual machines working at the moment, the one I already got .1 ISO made from is currently downloading the .1000 upgrade after I switched it to Skip ahead just now:

    Attachment 147801

... and other VM is a clean install of stock 1703 PRO N which I booted to Audit Mode, updated fully (PowerShell Windows Update works in Audit Mode, normal WU mostly not), installed Media Feature Pack, sysprepped generalizing it, and am at the moment capturing the install.wim with DISM to be able to create version 1703 PRO N ISO with pre-installed Media Features for future needs.
How did you manage to join skip ahead. When I tried yesterday, I got message saying it was full up?

Nope, it goes backwards and forward just fine, even with mouse shortcut side button..

When I use the forward button on Edge it takes me to places I haven't been yet. I like that feature.

I'm gonna let Slice be the caption, since it's his idea in the first place. You can be the navigator if you want.
