I liked your instructional post, Slice. And although I'm not a programmer, I caught the error in the second line "false is 1" but didn't want to show my iggerence just in case you wuz right and I most likely wuz wrong. :)Carry on with the 'structions . . .[/QUOTE
As an obviously intelligent woman.....Why the need to "mash" the English language?
Especially as you point out the need for accuracy when dealing with code.
Because that's my nature, Dencal. I am quite ignorant when it comes to code, but I've picked up a smattering here and there. As a writer (fiction), I use several "dialects" that are mostly in my own imagination, which do tend to come across when I'm trying to be sure the recipient understands that I'm not sure of what I'm saying.
I am glad uup to iso worked. Not tried it yet - it would be nice if it was possible to include media pack for clean install (without hoops and loops of mounting install.wim etc).
I guess good old Macrium imaging is easiest solution at this point.
Please let us know if "she who must be obeyed" replies to your tweet (I am sure that DS does not have any "ruth" despite her touchy feely image).
I have two PRO N virtual machines working at the moment, the one I already got .1 ISO made from is currently downloading the .1000 upgrade after I switched it to Skip ahead just now:
... and other VM is a clean install of stock 1703 PRO N which I booted to Audit Mode, updated fully (PowerShell Windows Update works in Audit Mode, normal WU mostly not), installed Media Feature Pack, sysprepped generalizing it, and am at the moment capturing the install.wim with DISM to be able to create version 1703 PRO N ISO with pre-installed Media Features for future needs.
