Actually no. 16262 was compiled Friday. It should be released this coming Weds. If so this follows the pattern that occurred with 16257which I also called. I think the Insider team is in a groove - would you not say, Dona?

Anyone remember that you could Ctrl/Select and mass Unpin tiles from the Start Screen in Windows 8?

Be nice if that was possible here!

Well, most wanted Start menu back, which is different. Highly disappointing IMO.

With the Metric system you have a much better numbering system than here. You can’t move the decimal point over one digit? You should use/try the American system. Divide inches by 12 for feet in your mind. Archaic!
    16 oz to lb
2000 (us) or 2240 lb (old uk) t
    to tonne

    1000 grams to kilogram

    1000 kilograms to tonne

    hmmm which is easier.

I am always how amazed the US is so prehistoric on their measurement system.

The only important imperial measurement in UK is the Pint used in pubs.

The mile is still used. All road signs are in miles.

It was even worse in the UK before our currency was decimalised.

    £ - Librum (pound)
    s - Solidus (shilling)
    d - Denarius (penny)

    12 d - 1 s
    20 s = 1 £

Actually, the old system had some pluses as 240 d/£ which meant you could share exactly with 3 persons for example.

Interestingly bookie odds were all designed to always return an exact whole number of pence for each whole pound wagered. Since decimalisation, they often have to round up or down to nearest new pence.
