Didn't happen to me this time but it did happen next to last time and I did same thing, updated WD from itself and build slid in like lubricated.

If MS want's us to use Edge, then they should really focus on the root cause of Edge freezing and locking up every now and then. This is a common problem and I am pretty certain 100% of all users experience this in each and every new build at least once. This issue has been there ever since Edge got launched and the problem should have been resolved by now. I have this issue on all my hardware, on my friends hardware, in my VMs and in my friends VMs.

I have used all possible channels to give feedback about Edge to Microsoft. Twitter, direct email, calls to support, Feedback Hub. There's nothing much more I can do, especially now as Satya Nadella started blocking my calls after losing a bet

Interesting...ALL machines, builds and VMs I have run Edge on, even all my friends machines, I have the freezing problem. I mean ALL, about 100 of different hardware.

I like Edge very much, it is my browser of choice, but for instance writing my last post in this thread it crashed.
