No sign of 'Story Remix' here on 16257.1000!
I recovered Story Remix precisely the day I chose the Skip Ahead option, I immediately got the update of the Photos app with that feature, I left a comment here that day and today at the moment DS put that tweet I received the update that removed it.

You can link Encrypted UUP files as downloaded from Microsoft but linking a "Homebrew" ISO isn't allowed. We've had the discussion several times before and it's not just the possibility that someone could upload a Crapware infected ISO, but also that Microsoft could possibly DMCA the Entire Thread because of a single post.

Edit: Forgot to say Thanks as I downloaded it :)

I thought one need only ask permission one time. What would be a reason for denying a link which \\

    1) I promised and nobody bothered to "correct me"

    2) Lot's of folks besides Mr Kumar were asking about.

So if Brink asks me to take down the link I will of course. But I would rather leave it up (and will remove it from my HD) until next weeks build.

Not criticizing, Marty. There is an UN-written rule that ISO links of any non-MS origin should be handled privately via a PM. That has always been my understanding. If that has changed or is incorrect, I, too, would like to know from a Mod or Admin. Perhaps Shawn ( @Brink ) could clarify. Again, no criticism was intended. Only going by what has happened in the past.
    Hello @martyfelker,

It is true that we do not allow direct download links for ISO files that are not from an official Microsoft source.

If you like, you can have people PM you to share the link for your copy via PM though.

Links can be nasty sometimes. For us old timers here, we know we won't do harm to each other. But if someone with a bad intention thinks it's okay to post any links here, it's not gonna be good for this forum.
Ok. I see Shawn has posted.

Thanks, badrobot. Now I understand why.

I thought we've been all through this.
Links should be sent privately to the specific person who asked and not to the general public.

OK. Thanks for removing the offending link.

I guess people can PM me and I will send you the link.

I also have a 16257.1000.170728-1630.RS_PRERELEASE_CLIENTPRO_OEMRET_X64FRE_EN-US for download from OneDrive. (The Skip-ahead build)

I'm guessing that the OEMRET has followed me from upgrading from W8 System Builders (OEM) edition? Is that correct?

My homebrew ISO is exactly the same filename. I don't think it has anything to do with the version of Windows you upgraded from - I never had an OEM edition of any Windows.

Thanks, Marty. The reason I'm asking is because I offered the download of it to someone and is using it. I'm wondering what the OEMRET means then.
