Anyone tested yet what happens if you have selected The next version of Windows and got 16257.1, then switch to Skip ahead to the next Windows release, will the current 16257.1 be updated with a cumulative or other update to 16257.1000?

Nope, but my bet would be on an upgrade rather than a CU.

I have not tested this for these versions, but on 16251.0 to 16251.1000 it upgraded as full UUP.

My point is, would be interesting to know if changing to Skip ahead version will be in effect starting from next build, or if even the current build will be updated?

Ok, I will make an ISO of 16257.1 Pro and then VM that one and switch to Skip Ahead...unless someone else beats me to it. I am quite busy today...will only have time to up my physical machine, then I must go for a car ride. :)

I just tried to change from Skip to regular but it didn't trigger any update.

IS that .1 which you changed to Skip ahead, which then started to download .1000?

That would be a downgrade, from 16257.1000 to 16257.1, therefore logically it won't happen. What I am talking about is the other way around, from .1 to .1000.
