Over a year after the free upgrade offer from W7 / W8 officially ended on July 29, 2016, I just activated a W10 PRO Hyper-V installation with a retail W7 key.

    Nice!

I was not offended - my original post had a wink and a smiley. No apology needed.

What part of my reply was unclear?

10240 was first official release to public following Technical Preview version. TH2 was the second release. You said TH2 was first release which is incorrect.

Ask any of the regulars in this forum.
I stand corrected. My apology, sir. Seems what I was reading in researching was false. Should have referenced more than one place.

Windows 10 was released to general public on July 29th, 2015. It was build 10240, the RTM or whatever you would like to call it.
    Thanks for that, Kari.

This is getting to be one "sorry" thread.

Dear Hustlers, please deliver us a new build before we all end up in AA (Apologies Anonymous)
