I would say at least 8 weeks to go. My guess is that version 1709 will be released on Friday September 29th, or following Tuesday 3rd of October.
This is something I was thinking too.

    Hello @martyfelker,

It is true that we do not allow direct download links for ISO files that are not from an official Microsoft source.

If you like, you can have people PM you to share the link for your copy via PM though.
Apologies if I put anyone under "the knife", I had an emergency situation due to corrupt ISO so normal protocol wasn't observed.

It is not your fault. The rules are the rules.

WE Are NOT allowed to share any links to any files that contain proprietary software or applications, unless it's a direct link to the software owners site, or the software owner has explicitly allowed us to share such software from our own servers.

These are the rules on this site and these are the rules on the whole internet.

If someone decide to break these rules, he/she is responsible for possible legal actions. Just don't do it publicly, or you get caught and the site owner might get in trouble for sharing illegal content, even if they are just the host.

We just have to keep remembering these things.

Build 16257.1 Works really well for me, except for the same minor glitches I have had ever since initial release of Windows 10, that never went away. :)

Yes it's fast, though it does sometimes(rarely) hang (which is one glitch it has ALWAYS had)

I've had Edge having this weird behaviour since at least half a year now, when posting about in one of the past announcement threads at least a few members replied them having it, too:

Move an Edge tab to a new window, move this new window to secondary display. Continue browsing on both Edge windows toggling between them for some time. Close secondary Edge window, the first one will crash and close within minutes of that.

Yes, I am seeing this too. I think that the second window also closes/releases the WindowBroker for the Edge main thread and all open Edge windows close or crash, because there is no Broker-handle to manage Edge. It could be a .NET Garbage collection issue or simply just bad programming. :)

Without full source code it's hard to tell.

Wouldn't that make the first instance to crash / close immediately? In my case it happens after some time, from a minute to a few minutes.
