Microsoft Releases Windows 10 S ISO to Developers, Education Customers

I am starting to like the S edition!
Me too, I think it's great because of the added security layer. Perfect for schools or the rest of my non-tech savvy family.
Useless for me though. :)

Will definitely be trying this manufacture mode latter on. Was just starting to get bored with the stock install and lose interest.

Same here. I like how it works exactly as designed, but my personal computing involves for instance PowerShell scripting in such extent that W10 S is not a viable alternative.

Does it mean it is also "Safer" for online banking and other online transactions?

Did the Manufacturer Mode mod, and booted into audit mode. Can't get showkey to work though. Nothing happens when I double click it. Just a quick busy wheel for a second. And slmgr only gives a partial key. Unless I'm using the wrong command?

Not sure if this has been posted but just in case, it seems you can now try 10S without a MDSN subscription.
There are some restrictions - it will not activate with N versions of Windows or any Home version . Also, it will not work in a VM.
Recommended install is to "upgrade" a suitable 1703 install.
Ideally I would have liked to install 1703 in a vhd but you cannot build upgrade a vhd normally except in a vm (which will not work). So I am guessing, I will need to install 1703 Pro as a proper dual boot option (so my main install is not affected), then do the upgrade to S.

I got showkey to work via command line (thanks to Superfly) and got my full key. :) Might come in handy latter on down the road.

I'm getting all kinds of security alert popups on that page. It's also locking up IE on me. I had to use task manager to kill IE to close the page. Not sure what's going on?

Does anyone know if 'Manufacturing Mode' is accessible if one uses the installer on that page, or do you need to have an MSDN licence (or similar) to access the Windows 10 S ISO?
