Then say "the build number for the upcoming release version is 16251. 0" and "the Skip Ahead build number is 16251.1000" or something like that. Version means version. Like I said, MS has made this whole mess as confusing as hell (and make it moreso week by week it seems), and I think it would be as well if we could not mix and match terminology. Whatever.
@sgage Yes it's a bit confusing...
16251 stands for Build
0 and 1000 stands for Revision
Build means that the whole source code with new features has been rebuilt, while Revision means that only binaries with bug fixes has been rebuilt (no new features).
Revision 0 is the initial build mark as "almost ready for release" while Revision 1000 is just a number that is higher than probable revision they will do till next Windows version will come out.
We also see Revision 1001, which is a different team working on same Windows version and builds, but work on different features.
Shall we complicate this even further? we still have a lot of other numbers to talk about! :)
I'm updating to Windows Insider x64 build 16251.RS_preview. :)
When it comes to Edge > I have no problems importing favorites from IE or any other problems whatsoever. It's a great, quick browser.

There must be something wrongly coded in MPC-HC, since I can see a lot of reports on problem dating several years back.
Paint is working really great for me. I guess it's slow because I think they have moved to .NET assemblies instead of C++ code and the .NET Optimizer has not yet precompiled some of the code to native binaries. I think MS is making Paint ready for a move to the Windows Store.
Slightly OT, but you can force run it yourself....
On a computer that is running a 32-bit Windows operating system
%windir%\microsoft.net\framework\v4.0.30319\ngen.exe update /force /queue
On a computer that is running a 64-bit Windows operating system
%windir%\microsoft.net\framework64\v4.0.30319\ngen.exe update /force /queue
