It seems that it's not updating when I'm restarting my Laptop. Anyone has any idea why?

In the Windows Update tab it's the "Restart Now" button, but it just restarts everything.
I had this problem about 4 builds back. I just kept hitting the restart and rebooting. I think it was the 3rd try it took off and completed.

I have. We have at least 3 different known releases for this build.

    1. x64 RS3_Release
    2. x64 RS_Preview
    3. x86 RS3_Release

Each release is approximately 100-150GB in size, containing all editions from Home to Enterprise
Not sure if that's what we're talking about. Some of us are getting different UUP folder names. So far as I know I got the Fall Creators update (x64). Which rs release it is I'm not sure.

@HippsieGypsie what is the watermark saying on your desktop? RS_Prerelease or RS3_Release

Anyone struck by the bizarre MPC-HC problem (pauses at least 5 seconds before launching, as of three or four Insider builds ago), and are proficient in Process Monitor, might be able to figure it out that way. I'm just not good enough with PM to quite make sense of it.
Yep, the MPC-HC problem is still here, didn't look into it tough..

I wasted a lot of time on that issue, deleting software distribution to reset the updates and running windows update troubleshooting. In the end i gave up and update using the ISO.

That is the Skip Ahead version that will pretty soon become 17xxx builds. Right now all builds are almost the same.

Your Windows will now receive cumulative updates until release, then you have to re-enter Fast Ring to start getting the 17xxx builds. (or maybe you automatically stay in fast ring, either way you don't get the early 17xxx builds yet)
