Just downloaded Slow Ring iso 16251, and did a check on editions and it seems to be Win 10 S!

    C:\WINDOWS\system32>dism /Get-WimInfo /WimFile:e:\sources\install.wim /index:1
Did you check all indexes? Your command above only checks index 1; as the official ISO images are multiple edition ones I am 100% sure also Home and Pro are included.

It's only logical that now when S edition is released, it's included in same ISO than Home and Pro.

To see all included editions, leave out /index:1, use the following command:

    dism /Get-WimInfo /WimFile:e:\sources\install.wim

Slice, your code snippet is difficult to read as it has no line breaks.

Anyway, I downloaded the Slow Ring ISO and checked, as I told it contains multiple editions (9 to be exact). It contains S, Home, Pro & Education both as normal and N versions, plus Home Single Language.

    @Kari

Yes i was editing it while you were typing. Not sure why the line breaks sometimes disappear and sometimes they are there.

I am currently installing this build on a VM and next I will try to import a shared VM in Hyper-V (since we have issues in build 16257.1) have nested virtualization enabled so everything should act as I was running on physical hardware.

Yeah - has all 9 editions.

How do I select 10 S as I do not get option to select an edition as my pc always puts in Home due to embedded bios key. I know you can select Pro if you put in PRO in an ei.cfg file.

I guess I will try S or 10 S in ei.cfg file and see what happens.

Only other way is to install it in a VM but I though 10 S was not vm compatible yet?

Delete all other indexes except for S and rebuild the ISO

I have installed S in a VM, no issues.

You could simply apply the image instead of traditional installation, selecting which edition (index) will be applied. See the tutorial: Apply Windows Image using DISM Instead of Clean Install Windows 10 Installation Upgrade Tutorials

    It's a bit faster, too.

    EDIT:

I mean, applying Windows image is a bit faster than traditional installation.
