Run dxdiag and you'll see the version by clicking on the display tab. Somewhere on the right hand side.

Mine works about 80% of the time. When it doesn't it's just a blank screen. Not sure if it waiting to get on line for a new pic or what. Don't know if the old pic is on a time out either.

Looking at my screenshot, my secondary monitor on the left shows my taskbar is positioned slightly above the bottom. Any one else get this?
