Announcing Windows 10 Insider Slow Build 16251 PC Insider

However many builds are released tomorrow, we'll enjoy updating, seeing what works/doesn't work, and filing feedback - a good time will be had by all.

I never responded in this thread, but both my computers automagically installed this build without a hiccup.

That was one of the quirky things I could not fix myself. And it's tie-in to using the pic on welcome screen/signon. Just was totally flaky. After I did a "Refresh" thru Recovery (not quite as gruesome as a clean install, and quick), it all starting working again. I had Insider tweaks and fooling around since around June 1 on it, so a lot got re-aligned.

Mine works, but is frozen since day two showing the same image. Directly after installation it showed another pic, next morning the one that has been shown since that.

Ok, thanks for this info. Seems it's flaky then, I am stuck at default lock screen picture. Will see if I can find a workaround tomorrow. I like those pretty images Spotlight wants to show me. :)

I hope you are not a betting person because if you gambled dosh on this, you would almost certainly lose. Once the paths diverge, there will be different teams working on either version and why on earth would MS tcoordinate releases to coincide with each other - I cannot think of any logical reason why MS would do this.

Knowing 24c's somewhat 3° off bubble sense of humor, I think there was a large amount of tongue-in-cheek in that post!
