I do my banking on my desktop. I am not going to put any info that can be stolen on a phone that I tend to lose regularly. :) So far, it hasn't been lost permanently, but I'm not taking any chances.
There is no info stored on the phone except for an application which I can also hide behind KNOX in my Sammy.

EDIT: I am 100% certain a browser is less secure than the banking app I use. :)

I'm not overly concerned about privacy issues but I still don't do banking or government stuff online.
I still physically go to the bank once a week for that reason.
(That, and I've got a huge crush on the teller!!!)

Hahhah, if I go to the bank I have to wait for several hours, then I have to pay a 5€ fee per bill payed. NOPE! I do everything online. If I could eat and sleep as an online service I would do that too. :)

Nothing more than that I lose my phone...and I buy a new one.
I have never done any transactions on my phone. I do all my transactions on my desktop with my passwords saved in KeePass 2. I copy and paste my info when doing any online transactions. If someone loses their phone what's stopping someone from using it to access your accounts?

The bank and the whole online banking ecosystem. No private data is stored...if someone try to hack their way in to an account. That person, IP and app would get banned from the servers forever. And the account would get frozen. Only way to unlock everything again is to go to the bank, show my face and some ID.

Agree with you @Winuser and @Wynona. Don't like wifi for secure transactions. I prefer to be Ethernet wired for secure transactions.

If someone hack the WiFi data, that person can't use that for anything, even if they managed to decrypt the data.

Online banking might work a bit differently here in Finland, compared to the US...but I know I am safe.

I know we've covered this before but, how do you disable the "Last item that had mouse focus" rectangle?!
    I forget!
