@Brink, I think we need a separate feed for the PRE-release version. Gets somewhat confusing when someone is posting about PRE-release and others post about current build.
I am Insider FAST and this downloaded onto my Computer "Windows 10 Insider Preview 16251.rs3_170721-2112" I had NO choice !!

I also have Active development of Windows.

Should I chose Skip ahead to the next Windows release ?? If I do, then
Windows 10 Insider Preview 16251.1000 (rs_prerelease) starts coming down ?????????????????????

Only this thread for this build will be confusing...next build we get should be prerelease, and there will only be one version

In build 16251.0 I get exactly how it should look like...let me fire up my VM and I will test build 16251.1000 also.

UPDATE: In build 16251.1000 I get both ask Cortana and Search Web

Thanks, guys. Hmm. Wonder why they're all different? I like the Ask Cortana cuz the results slide out from the right, then have the choice at the bottom to open a Bing results page. With "Search the web for" it just opens the Bing search results tab/page.

    What opens with your choices?

Which Insider Release is "better" and "newer" ??

    Windows 10 Insider Preview 16251.1000 (rs_prerelease)
    or
    Windows 10 Insider Preview 16251.rs3_170721-2112
Complementing other answers, there is a difference between the two versions and is one of the main reasons why Microsoft made this change, the rs_prerelease version will receive advanced and anticipated versions of the "inbox apps" while the rs3_release version will receive the same versions of apps that receive Production, I know that many here are not interested or do not use those apps, but for Microsoft these apps are very important and they consider them as an integral part of the system and, as I said before, is one of the main reasons for making this change.

Fast ring: Builds from rs3_release branch with no inbox app updates

Fast ring + Skip Ahead: Builds from rs_prerelease with inbox app updates from the Store

Fast ring: Builds from RS3_RELEASE branch with no inbox app updates.

If you set it to "Skip ahead" you'll get the prerelease 16251.1000.

A minor annoyance that still persists.
Opening a Start Menu folder does not reveal all items, some stay hidden having to scroll manually.

I could be wrong but, in Windows 7, (and perhaps 8), the list would jump up to reveal all items.

Cortana Search works as it should and the Search Web opens Bing as you mentioned. :)
