This subject is not difficult at all to discuss without bringing politics into it. Kaspersky has been suspected of this for many years before the last Presidential election. Current politics has nothing to do with Kaspersky's relationship, whatever that may be, with the Russian Government.

It is a Russian multinational company headquartered in Moscow, Russia. I don't use it. I use WD and MBAM and they work great. People should though I think be aware of current events and issues etc.
