    Yep Cliff, that's probably on the radar - it's a super cool app. as well... wonder if they will make Superfly-Inc an offer.. guess not, huh.. LOL

    I doubt CCleaner will change much as a standalone product - it's merely the intellectual content they acquired.

    I hope you are right Craig and I don't have to move away from CCleaner. With CCleaner I particularly like the option to keep selected cookies.

    Not sure if any of you guys have been through corporate mergers and take-overs... but I have... suffice to say, the reason for an aquisition is to enhance - CCleaner and Speccy will be fine...

    Yes I agree if they just leave it be and not make it the Bloatware that Avast has become.

    There was concern when Malwarebytes acquired ADWCleaner, that it would crumble. It's actually gotten much better. The ADW team is allowed to self-govern.

    I worked for a couple of companies that were taken over or bought out and they're no longer in Business.

    o&o vs piriform in Software and Apps
    Who makes the better desktop solutions overall? I'm thinking of getting a suite of software as a xmas gift to someone, from one of these two. Question is, they make pretty similar software from the looks of it, but who's performs better?
