- get a windows phone and have the best of all worlds..
- ha, ha!!
When I tried to get a Windows phone at AT&T, they had discontinued using whatever the current phone was (too many problems), and the newer one wasn't available yet. So I wound up with a 'droid.

I was just on their web site. AT&T has 0 Windows Phone listed. I'm glad I got my Lumia 950 when I did.

Well, since I don't use my phone for anything but talk and text, and maybe the occasional lookup, I don't need anything more than I have, and since I'm pretty used to Android (phone and various tablets), I'm satisfied.

Just commenting on your post and to let others know that AT&T dropped the Windows Phone.

I have a smartphone to be used for what it was designed for - to call and text, to receive calls and texts, to read / send email when on the road, to watch videos or listen music or stream live TV when sitting on a train on a boring four hour trip, to talk with my friends on Skype, to give me alarms and notifications based on my calendar, to browse Interwebs when I can't access a PC or laptop, to be used as a mobile modem to get Internet on laptop or PC when I for any reason cannot access any wired or wireless networks, to automatically store photos I take to my OneDrive, to access my home computers and OneDrive content when not at home, and so on.
I also do not use one drive. I have just a cell phone as I hardly ever leave the house. So I just use my PC. If I did leave I would have a Smart Phone but for me to spend all that money for one and just have it laying next to my PC would be a waste. I hear that the cost of the Iphone 8 will be $1,000.00 USD . I would never spend that kind of money. Everything you can do I can do without a smart phone since I am like a hermit although on my trip to Arizona I could have used one.

I have a camera on my Samsung flip phone works great. But I use a Cannon Digital Camera for taking photos.

So do I, Josey. I have two, in fact. A Canon SureShot and a Canon PowerShot. Both are getting a bit old, but still work fine and have more megapixels than what's available currently.

I have a smartphone with all the bells and whistles, but seldom use any of them outside regular calls and texting other than the excellent camera. Problem is the economical wireless carrier I use requires smartphones. I can put up with that at only $15 a month for unlimited calling and texting. :)
