Sorry for shouting this out, but this is HUUUGE!
@slicendice - it is better than it was in Windows 8 as well.
Now the placeholders take 0 bytes on disk whereas before they existed as holding files and so took 4kb each which was really annoying if you have thousands of tiny text files like I do.

Just one thing to remember (which is easy to forget!), if you open one or more in OneDrive, it does DL it. So remember to right click it to "free" the space, or right click the OneDrive folder to "free" all at the same time. And....empty folders show as not optimize, the green arrow thing, because they are....empty. Just a quirk, I guess. This is how it works here, last time I checked.

Thanks! I tried that already...all works as expected when getting files and freeing space. Yes empty folders seems to be marked as downloaded. But it's OK, as a folder does not take any space except for the name and address. Actually I think it's better this way..since there is nothing to be downloaded anyway.

Now I am going to take a chance and install this build straight on the hardware (no VM anymore).
Wish me good luck. I am almost 100% certain my display drivers will be screwed up after this. HAHAH!
