Anyone else with this minor annoyance:
After boot, be it cold start or restart, Audio icon in notification area shows white X on red background which typically means there is no audio devices installed:
However, audio works just fine, and first time colume is adjusted the X disappears. Not a big thing, not an issue, I'm mostly just iterested in knowing if this is caused by my own PC demons or if other users have experienced the same.
No problems with my Realtek audio here, Kari. Could it be a Windows Shell problem with yours? Perhaps the driver? I see you have the great BeatsAudio system on that laptop.
BTW, in reading up on that I see that Fiat Chrysler Corp has introduced that sound system in their automobiles. BeatsAudio - Beats by Dre
Speaking of Shell, I see we have volume control over more Window Shell aspects such as Cortana, notification sounds, and the like. Great feature.

They should spend less time on Twitter and more time in the production room, we might have something coherent by now!

I'll predict Tuesday at the earliest. Possibly Wednesday. I hardly think a lot of MS writers and the like are working over a Summer weekend. Of course I'm sure there's a skeleton crew watching over things.
