Don't really see the desire in running these buggy builds, I am guessing it's close if not already feature complete and the later builds will just be bug fixes. I always wait until a month or so before release before I start trying the new builds. It will be the same way in the future as well and it's why Microsoft says not to run these builds on your main box.

It seems to me that the Windows 10 development team put more effort into new gimmicks than into getting the operating system stable. And it's probably the top management prioritising the gimmicks
Hi there. Sorry to see you're having problems with stabilization. Are you using an Insider build as an Insider or another build?

Also, what exactly do you mean by gimmicks?

A couple years ago, Insider Builds were exciting, refreshing and somewhat stable; now it's just bugs, bashing, boredom and BSOD's!!!
Sorry to see you're getting BSODs, Edwin. That's surely no fun.

Posting Spam cartoons like this in a serious thread when someone has a real problem may fit your Question? All I know is when I did a clean install of 16241 it still restarted when I woke it up from sleep. Sleep works just fine in every other build. One has to wonder WHY Hibernation became default when my issue started. Why in the age of SSD's would anyone use it? Takes up about 75% of the memory you have. I have 24GB so I do not want to waste 18Gb on this. I cannot afford a 2TB SSD.

    Well...,

This Build, after a good amount of tweaking and slimming, is performing fairly well.

While the UWP Apps are great for some, I've settled on using traditional programs I've grown accustom to.

A couple unnecessary Start items linger, but that's okay:

Background processes hover around the 20's instead of the 50's!

CPU and RAM chug along at 20% and 30% respectively under normal load.

    (Glad WMP is fixed!)

No issues to speak of at the moment; runs well for being installed on an old spinner!

If you look at the bug bash, many of the tasks have to do with modern apps, so it is assumed that when installing these insider builds you should also test how those apps work in each build, talking about this, I have seen in other forums that some people install these builds and try to disable all the telemetry, LOL, I understand that in the public build, but in these insiders builds whose purpose is to send data and report bugs to Microsoft...absurd.

Modern Apps work fine, I just don't care to use most of them; I've let them know that.
    Telemetry continues as defaulted.

I do not care about the use of these apps at all. The Only one I use is The Weather/and of course mail.

Well ... this is the list of all the apps I have, all of them I use frequently and I test them in every build (except Mixed reality portal, Connect and Get help):
