First, let me repeat that to populate the list will take some time. If the list is opened before it's done, it will not show / include all entries.

The first 2 times I did it, I thought it failed because the cursor appeared again as if waiting on another command. Gave up and looked at my C: (destination file location) and there it was. < 5 sec for me, show 24 items. ??

I find computers easier to use than fancy-shmancy phones. specially Android.
I do not and never will own a smart phone. I have a cell phone to use it for what it was designed for-to talk to people.

The cursor will reappear when the list is done, marking that PS is ready for next command.

I could not resist, when the Nokia 640 was on sale for $29, bought one. Have W10 insider on it now, switched my T-Mobile sim to it and it is really nice. When other non window types look at it, they always ask "WTH"(heck) is that. :-)

I have a smartphone to be used for what it was designed for - to call and text, to receive calls and texts, to read / send email when on the road, to watch videos or listen music or stream live TV when sitting on a train on a boring four hour trip, to talk with my friends on Skype, to give me alarms and notifications based on my calendar, to browse Interwebs when I can't access a PC or laptop, to be used as a mobile modem to get Internet on laptop or PC when I for any reason cannot access any wired or wireless networks, to automatically store photos I take to my OneDrive, to access my home computers and OneDrive content when not at home, and so on.

Me too. Have a little flip cell that stays off most of the time. Prefer some privacy and NOT staying connected 24/7. Wife had an Android phone and gave up on it. Sits in a drawer now, battery long dead...but loves her WiFi connected Android tablet.
