I sat in on Wednesday's Webcast; 3 minutes of Taco hats and Wonder Woman shields was enough for me!!!
Today's is the first Insider Webcast I've seen. It also may have been my last.

I am not at all surprised at her reply - kinda proves to me what I have been thinking.

I may be going out on a limb here, and say (imo) the reason we see bs now like ninja cats etc is all the touchy feely bs we get from her in charge.

With Gabe, things were more factual and we were not patronised.

Before anybody suggests otherwise, I have no issues with ladies leading teams and have happily had lady bosses.

Let's be honest, computer geeks are not into sitting around camp fires, holding hands and singing kumbaya.

I remember there was a time when installing XP and the computer was connected to internet, it would get infected straight away, even before the setup was completed.

Now I just can't remember the name of the malware...
I remember people claiming that and that's why I never install Windows whilst my machine is connected to a network.

It had the additional benefit of being able to avoid having an online login on my W10 laptop.

As far as I remember, XP was poor with built in drivers which had to be installed manually from disk. That includes network drivers but also drivers fo phone modems that were prevalent at that time and had to set dialing number to connect to internet.

Anyone else with this minor annoyance:

After boot, be it cold start or restart, Audio icon in notification area shows white X on red background which typically means there is no audio devices installed:

    Attachment 145025

However, audio works just fine, and first time colume is adjusted the X disappears. Not a big thing, not an issue, I'm mostly just iterested in knowing if this is caused by my own PC demons or if other users have experienced the same.
I have seen that - not every time but at least once. But I think this was vanilla 1703, not in an Insider build.
