What is this nonsense? Every user choose to run whatever OS and version they want (even Windows 10 users can block ALL updates). Does it really matter how many use which OS or who is right about the numbers?

I know many who still run MS-DOS 6.22(and even older), Windows 3.11 and NT 3.51. So what? These computers have specific tasks and there would be absolutely no point in upgrading the OS. They simply just work without a glitch on very old or simple very cheap hardware.

Personally I currently run Windows 10 (Latest release Preview), Windows Server 2012 R2, brandless Linux built from source, Ubuntu, Android, DOS, MenuetOS and KolibriOS...and many more. I bet this usage is not logged anywhere in the stats.

EDIT: Oh, forgot to mention that I also run Amiga Workbench (multiple versions) too.
No except Xp is a hazard and MS recommends not to use it. They should have offered the Win 10 upgrade to all Windows users.

Hehhe, let the XP users surf the web all they want, their computers will break eventually, either by hardware failure or a Virus.

Yeah, let me use it but this ancient HP laptop refuses to die.

But as they surf they can spread bad stuff to the Net and will possibly affect everyone.

Hahhah, I also have an old HP laptop that barely run XP (SP2 makes it REALLY slow) and it's hardware still very reliable.

It's the internet content providers responsibility to make sure their sites are secure. And it is also my own responsibility to keep my computers secure.

I don't even remember when was the last time I had an infection coming from the interWEB.

Per MS that is easy to do. My wife still uses Vista and I cannot even update Firefox on it.
