Installing on half-a-dozen systems now. Will report back if I hit any snags, but so far, so good.

Note added 1:13 later: I did hit a crazy-ish snag on my Surface Pro 3, which is running the Release Preview version, but all other updates went OK. I couldn't get Windows Update to work on that machine, including using the troubleshooter download as well as the built-in troubleshooter. But when I tried WUMTx64 it was able to access WU without difficulty. I could also see, thanks to its more explicit status info, that the upgrade was failing on the Malicious Removal Tool (MRT). The cumulative and defender updates downloaded and installed correctly, so I just manually downloaded the latest MRT and ran it as administrator. After that, WU update checks proceeded without difficulty and I got a clean bill of health from the next update status check. Glad I didn't have to do an in-place repair install or a clean install to fix this: it seemed pretty resistant to ordinary repair techniques.
Note added 18:00-ish later: blogged about the detection and repair of the update error for Windows Enterprise Desktop: WUMT Rescues Win10 Release Preview 15063.483.
