Hyper-V users, configuration version has been upgraded to 8.2. You might want to upgrade your existing virtual machines:



Takes a few seconds. Notice that VM should be shut down when upgrading.

So far as I understand, Bug Bash starts at midnight (12:00 a.m.) tonight in Seattle. That will be 7:00 a.m. GMT.

Are your real machines ready? Backups? Extended disk cleanup perhaps? Adjust/uninstall any software or settings you may think won't allow update? Have your install/update list up to date and ready? Thumbs ready for ISO if need be?

I'm hoping they release an ISO as they have for bashes in the past. Any official word yet?

Anybody get this site to work ? I have been getting errors since it was put up yesterday. Tried Chrome, FF, and Edge - same results. Have seen similar reports of error on other sites.

ok here. Try a bigger hammer! Or what Mike said....

@MIKE And TC - have tried those - still no go....
I can select edition, but when I select language I get error.


ETA - booted to an install of 15063.483 - still a no go. I have annoyed the Gods of ISOs

ETA2 - I have the x64 16232 isos I made when upgrading - wanted to nab a x86 version.
I grabbed an "unofficial" Prox86 iso - installed and found out Cliff was right - the WMP issue was not present in the x86 install.
